Miss Elizabeth Loeffler (left), who plays the lead in Ibsen's "A Doll's House," which opened the fall season last evening at the Studio Theatre, miniature playhouse, Division of Drama of the University of Washington, and Miss Frances Farmer, star of Edna Ferber's play, "Come and Get It," which has its world premiere tonight at the Liberty Theatre. They visited backstage at the Studio Theatre last evening and then Miss Farmer personally greeted each member of the Studio preview audience during the intermission. Miss Farmer but a short time ago was also playing on the Studio stage, starring in "Alien Corn." Since then she has become a famous Hollywood star. All her dramatic training was received right here in Seattle, all her acting done in Division of Drama productions under the tutelage of Professor Glenn Hughes, head of the University of Washington Division of Drama and founder-director of the Penthouse and Studio Theatres.
