Ex-Actress To Wed Seattle Man Saturday
Frances Farmer, Seattle actress who soared to stardom on the stage and screen in the late 1930’s and early 1940’s, will be married to Alfred H. Lobley Jr., of Seattle, it was announced Tuesday.
Her mother, Lillian V. Farmer, 2636 47th Ave., S.W., said the wedding will take place Saturday.
Miss Farmer, 40, now employed by a Seattle hotel, and Lobley, 4139 W. Othello St., an employee of the City Engineering Department, applied for a marriage license Tuesday.
It will be Miss Farmer’s second marriage. She formerly was married to Leif Erickson, actor.
