A long time ago, in a forest far, far away there lived a little girl. Her father called her Goldie for her curly, golden hair. Her five brothers called her Brat and Nosy for she wanted to do everything that they did. Her mother called her Honey Go Away because Mama stayed busy cooking, cleaning, and washing for her family.
One morning Goldie woke up very early. Soooooo early that only her mother, father, and the dawn birds were just stretching their arms and wings preparing for a long summer day.
