September 27th - Lancaster to Toms River

New Jersey

Yesterday was mostly spent visiting and reflecting on my time here. Many of my thoughts and feelings are too private, or have become too numerous to post in these pages. They require more reflection and with visiting I don't have the time to journal as much. The events however will not be forgotten, and will become food for thought as I start back home.

Last night the community came in for a final good- bye and pictures. I left early this morning for Cousin Audrey's house in Tom's River NJ.

Of course, I got lost a few times! There is a lot of road construction going on, with signage covered or obscured. But with prayer, and people at gas stations, I arrived early enough to visit with Cousin Helen before she left for home. Tomorrow Audrey and I will visit Aunt Helen at the Nursing Home.

Driving along the highways in unfamiliar territory, it is always such a relief to find myself on the right road. Sometimes I wish I could just stay on it - but then I wouldn't get to where I'm going....in fact, I wouldn't get to much of anywhere.
