Having been born in the most romantic month of the year (May 30^th, 1971), I am incurably sentimental (I always shed tears at the cinema, regardless of the genre, content and/or end of the film). I live in the capital of Slovenia – Ljubljana – and like to go home now and then – to a small town Kostanjevica na Krki. The rest of me: height: around 170 cm, weight: not that important, hair: brown and usually short, eyes: of an indescribable grey-blue-green colour. I work at the Ljubljana School for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (ZGNL in short) as a Slovene language and literature teacher. I try to do some other things, too – most of them connected to my work. Friends. A book now and then (favourites: Pippi Longstocking and Harry Potter, a Slovene author Fran Milčinski, most definitely Kurt Vonnegut, Terry Pratchett’s Discworld (definitely in luv with Death!) and some Russian authors. Bridget Jones’ Diary should also be mentioned). I’ve been reading a lot of youth and children’s literature lately (I hope it doesn’t mean I’m getting senile already). I do some sewing and crocheting – nothing serious, really. most of the time woollen blankets and jeans pillows come out. I’ve been doing some karate with the local karate klub (there’s a link if you’d like to visit their site).

I like to go out when I have time, especially for walks in the woods. I’m also an animal lover (not a veggie, though, because I also love good food – especially if prepared by somebody else). I’m a Sleeper (note the Cap.), but the circumstances of my life are usually adversed to it. I like good company (people you can talk to and have fun with), card games, jigsaw puzzles, Scrabble, and I like to go to the cinema. I used to take interest in mythology, but not anymore.

I’m not much involved with music, but I like to listen to all kinds of it (some classics, rock and roll, some heavy metal if necessary, Slovene authors etc.).

Well … Very romantick, as already mentioned, though I hardly ever admit it. Currently having a crush on a certain polar-circle morning-type person … Hhhnnnrljrrggghhh …

Online dictionaries, like Merriam Webster's online dictionary – quite a nice one. There’s also a Slovene site containing links to several mono- bi- and multilingual dictionaries (here). Several dictionaries, as well as some grammar and everyday phrases for various languages can be found on Travlang's site. I like to visit online sign language dictionaries. So far two of them are worth mentioning (linking, that is): ASL dictionary and Croslan dictionary. Regarding Slovene Sign Language, there is only a printed version of the dictionary and an interactive CD-ROM version getting finished (I sincerely hope they’re going to put it on the net, too).

I guess I’m more of a visual type so I like to take a walk (surf) on photosites (like Corbis).
