4-5 servings
100 g margarine or butter or 3/4 dl liquid margarine 2-3 tbsp sugar 1½ dl flour 1½ dl oats 4-5 apples 2-3 tbsp sugar ½-1 tsp cinnamon or shredded peel of one lemon 1) Turn on the oven, 225°C/440°F. 2) Melt the butter in a pot and stir down sugar flour and oats or mix sugar, flour and oats with the liquid margarine. 3) Cover the bottom of a large, round pie pan or in a wide oven safe dish with low sides. 4) Peel, pit, and slice the apples into thin slices. 5) Put the apple slices in the pie shell and sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon or the peel of lemon. 6) Sprinkle the rest of the dough over the pie and cook on the middle rack until the dough has some color and the apples are soft, 15-20 minutes. 7) Serve warm, preferably with custard, but vanilla ice-cream works well too. |
