I found the website informative and stimulating, I am hoping to begin my midwifery degree once my youngest daughter starts fulltime school. You have some interesting experience that I was very impressed with. It is rare to find a midwife who is associated with MANA and also ACNM. I am not pregnant but have been trying for 4 years and am in the middle of an IVF cycle currently. If this cycle i succesful (!)I would like to receive some more information from you. I have some experience in midwifery but am not documented.I studied with a midwife in Colorado named Renee Stein who at the time was the head of the Fellowship of Christian Midwives. Af er that I did an internship at a Birth Center in El Paso that mainly did a large number of third trimester hispanic women. It was a learning experience by fire. My husband and I lived in Dallas a few years ago where I did postpartum care at the Birth and omen's Center run by a CNM name Cherie Boettcher. I was unaware that there were any midwives anywhere near us if I was to get pregnant. I thought my only choice would be Houston so it was nice to see your web page.

Sandra-- Nice page!!! I will give this addy out to people in Dallas. I have contacted several midwives and birthing centers in Dallas. I regret not completing my Doula training with you. Hind sight you know. *S* I hope the Nacogdoches Doula Registry is doing well. Tell everyone hello for me. I have a birth in August. Remember my last birth mother, Brittney Jarboe??
