It is important to pray and talk to God. God is always listening to everything. But, it is nice when you talk directly to Him and thank Him for what He has given you. I do believe in asking God for things, but you should only ask Him for things you really need, because He can not give everything to everyone. Also, the better the person you are the more He will give you. God gives you what you deserve.
