Band Memebers... Mick Mars (guitar), Nikki Sixx (base guitar), Vince Neil (lead vocals), Tommy Lee (drums) | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
When I was twelve years old, I fell in love with heavy metal. Motley Crue popped my headbangin cherry and I haven't gone back since. *EG* To me Motley Crue is the thing that Kick start your heart. The Crue is one of THE best heavy metal groups I have ever heard. They are up there with Metalica, Poison, Ozzy, Ratt...etc. I will never forget that horrible day when they broke up. I wanted to kick the boys in the head for firing Vince like that. Vince is Motley Crue. As any band should know, the lead singer is the show stopper, the big name on the ticket. But they came to their senses....thank God. And now are stugglin with the rest of the metal bands to get back to the top. With songs like, Ten Seconds to Love, Girls, Dr. Feelgood, Shout, On with the Show, Home Sweet Home, etc. It is easy to see why the Crue was one of the top bands of the '80's. Tommy Lee played the drums with such a strong beat it made us rock our bodies. Mick Mars and Nikki Sixx brought the songs to life with their rythmes and massive sounds. And Vince Neil...oh, sweet Vince Neil....with the voice that opened many a lady's thighs...oh, sweet Vince with those bedroom eyes and lushious lips....the voice that made us stand up and cheer and at times weap silent tears. yp Motley Crue made me a metal head. Motley Crue will always in my heart be THE group that started it all....at least for me. Please, stop and say a prayer for Skylar Neil. I am sure all you fans know how she died of stomache cancer. I am sure all us fans grieved with Vince and his family. So say a prayer for Skylar, Vince would like that. e the text you want here, then click OK to make the text show up on your page. A little older...alot more experience under their belts. The Crue is still rockin us with albumns like...Generation Swine, and Motley Crue. Here's a funny Crue story. Motley Crue came to Pittsburgh, Pa...close to where I am from...last summer. They played a porno between sets of the concert. Well PGH got pissy and next thing you know the Crue got a fine...I believe it was like $10,000.00. *shakes her head* And it was....ALL IN THE NAME OF ROCK-N-ROLL!!!!!! But I think My fav Crue story was when touring for Smokin...Tommy Lee decided one night at the hotel they were staying at to take off all his clothes and run around naked. LOL Well, someone called the police. Next thing you know this lady is iding Mick Mars...saying...ya, that's the one. *L* So Mick got arrested for Tommy running around nekid. Another fav is when they were touring in Rhode Island. Vince was doin his sexy lil Vince stuff...and um, well, he fell into the audience. Needless to say, by the time the security people came to the rescue...Viny boy had only a lil piece of clothe to cover his crotch as he ran across the stage. OH MY GARSH, what I wouldn't give to have been there. Vince in true form came back on stage a lil while later...wearing one of Tommy's bikini briefs...and nothing else. |

Motley Crue then... | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
This is the look the Crue had that still makes my heart stop. *W* It all started for them with Too Fast For Love. With songs like Live Wire, Public Enemy #1, Piece of Your Action, and On With The Show, this tape put them on the road to Super Music Stardom!!! Their second tape was Shout at the Devil.... This albumn made them famous. Shout at The Devil, Ten Seconds to Love, Looks that Kill...etc. By the time Motley made Theatre Of Pain, the were well known and had already formed their S.I.N. (Saftey In Numbers) fan club. Smoking In the Boysroom, Home Sweet Home, Louder Than Hell. Girls Girls Girls came next!!! One of My favorite albumns of ALLLLL TIME!!!! Wild Side, Girls, Bad Boy Boogie, You're All I Need, Jailhouse Rock. Dr. Feelgood.....mmmm...mmmm....GOOD. Need I say more. *EG* This tape truely ROCKED!!! Dr. Feelgood, Kickstart My Heart, Without You, Time For Change, She Goes Down. Decade Of Decadence...This tape was good. I was really surprised when they made it. Early in the Motley Crue days, Nikki Sixx once said in an interview the the Crue would never do a best of albumn. And now to date there are Two. |
