AMSTERDAM....
Day and Night, we were able to capture the beauty of this city.  There were canals everywhere we looked.   Bicycles seemed to be a key source of transportation.  People actually hitchiked by bicycle.   One thing that fascinated us was that many of the buildings were built in the 1600's.
Grand Centraal Station.  This is 'the' place where trains arrive and depart to different cities around Europe.  We arrived here from Brussels, Belgium.
Anne Frank Huis..... (Diary of Anne Frank), was the building with the scaffold in front. This building is now a museum which holds all of Anne Frank's original writings, as well as the actual warehouse where the Frank family was hidden.  This tour was one of the most sobering tours we've ever experienced.
Rembrandt Place... The place to watch and be watched.   There wasn't a lot of people watching going on at that moment.  It was only about 40 degrees that day.  We thought it was helarious that all of the establishments on that strip had outdoor seating that ALL faced forward.
