The
Heineken
Experience
On our last day, we visited the Heineken Brewery.  Beer is no longer brewed here, but in 1998, they turned it into a Heineken Museum where people can 'experience' the brewing process, and then enjoy free beer at the end!
This was the 'bottling' part of the tour.  We walked into a small room and were put through the bottling process.  In other words, there was a large screen and we had to pretend to be a bottle going through the process; being filled, moved, bumped around, labled, boxed, and finally delivered to a pub.  It was quite an adventure!
Ahhh.... Love that Heine!   What I didn't realize when hugging this over sized can, was that it was actually a phone booth.  People were making local calls in this can.  OOPS!
Toward the end of the tour, we came across a room that allowed us to feel the type of atmosphere that Heineken should be enjoyed.  They had environment simulators that made us feel like we were dancing in a club, hanging out in a pub, and relaxing at a festival.
Here we reaped the rewards of a long day.... Enjoying free Heineken at the bars inside of the museum.  This was the final part of The Heineken Experience!
