The pictures above are photos I had taken around Grand Rapids MN on our Summer Holiday. There were a couple of good storms at night, but it was beuatiful during the day.
CashForecaster is DEAD. I have left the vault and started in Electronic Window on March 15th of this year. EW is the data center for a number of different applications. I have no idea how I landed this job. The closest I have ever come to a database is Microsoft Access, peeyeww. I'm producing JCL, using SQL and I guess I'm on call when I return from vacation in September. Production never sleeps, so it's a 24X7 job. YEAH!!!
Patrick is no longer working at Vital Works. YEAH!!! He called the original founders of Vital Works, who had since left the company to start their own ISP, US Family Net. He's doing gorilla programing, but it's a nice change from the highly structured, beck and call previous employers. I'm still very proud of him.
Christian is doing pretty well. I think that the progress is substantial. Chris has been verified to indeed have a learning disability. We used to call it dyslexia, but I guess that isn't PC anymore. In 4th grade, he got special ed classes in reading. I think that is what we need. We are still working on his math & reading skills. I think he is a creative child, & not very comfortable with a structured environment.
Zoe has her own yard to play in. We have fenced in the new yard and has her 2 girlfriends over, Daisey and Ginny to play. The girls like all of Zoe's toys and they play and chase each other all over the yard. Everybody has a great free for all.
