Update July 2000
Has it really been three months? WOW! My apologies!!
My health has been good. In May my Oncologist scared the snot out of me by ordering more tests and a bone scan when i went in for my quarterly exam. On the day I was to get the results my Dad showed up at the hospital for moral support, I mis-intrepreted this as a sign that he knew the results and was coming to support me in the bad news. My blood pressure was off the charts!!!! Long story short, all is well, my Dr was just being cautious (and i thank God for that)
In April, I lost my wonderful, beautiful and Godly Grandmother to luekemia. I miss her so much but thank Jesus that I will get to see her again in HIS house.
Tomorrow I am speaking at a Longaberger Horizon of Hope event. I am really nervous but excited because this is what God called me to do and the whole reason I am selling Longaberger. And by the way, the Lord has also blessed the business side of this venture....I have earned some wonderful baskets and products for my sales efforts...to God be the glory!!!! Don is still wonderful and things are going great!! I am getting ready for my big vacation, the first three weeks of which will be spent with Don and Josh in Minneapolis, Hoyt Lakes MN, Bridgman MI, Chicago and Neenah WI. The forth week I will be in Columbus OH (UH OH Buckeye Land) for the Longaberger Basket Bee. I am soooooooo looking forward to it.
The Cyber stalking I have experienced in the past has stopped so perhaps I will be able to post some pictures here again.
Have a wonderful summer everyone!!!!
Update March 2000
I started the month with a trip to South Dakota to see Don. We had a great time celebrating my birthday, visiting the grave of Sitting Bull , and counting cows (ahhhh Dakota life !!!!)
The Lord has been speaking to me about going out into the world to tell my story (beyond what I am already doing) The door that He has now opened is through Longaberger baskets. Besides being totally awesome baskets, Longaberger runs a campaign each summer called the Horizon of Hope. They offer a totally cute basket and donate part of the profits to Breast Cancer Research......and now I will get to sell them and tell everyone about how wonderful our Lord is ..........
