Daisies
I stand in between a field of yellow daisies,
the wind softly caresses my face
as it twirls my hair around,
as if he was dancing with each strand.
I feel an enchanting peace within me.
The birds celebrate high in the trees
and the fragrance of a delicate sweetness
fills my mind with great pleasure.
This is the moment when your arms
around me delight me with tranquillity,
Fainting, I fall into the bed of flowers
just to awake by your side.
The moon, bright silver shine,
looking down at us,
but we don't have a care,
except for the passion
that warms the night,
with the slow move in time,
deeper and deeper sinking
until drowned beyond the reach
of the world outside of us.
We seek each other in the most
longing way anyone could ever feel.
Just like the hummingbirds
reaching for the nectar in the daisies,
we are forever part of the
endless universe, as we breathe
together bonded by our desires.
