Cookie Training will be held Tuesday, January 16 7:00-9:00 PM at Stallings Elementary School. It is required that ALL Leaders AND all Troop Cookie Coordinator s attend this MANDATORY training. No paperwork will be given to your troop until BOTH of you are trained!

*You will only receive enough packets for the girls who are currently registered through Brenda, all new memberships will be verified through Brenda Wildish, BEFORE a packet is given.

Cookie Rally will be Jan 20 @ Castle Park 9:00 AM and Pre-order Sale begin Sat., January 27.

We would like to compile an email list for all the troops. This will help

us to keep you up-to-date on important notices and change of plans. Please

designate someone who checks their email at least every other day on the

clipboard provided.

Community Service - Barbara Anderson: The service unit gives out an annual troop award for any troop participating in a service project during the year. Please provide your troop # and the nature of the service project on the clipboard.

Þ Wild Rose SU will be participating as a service unit in a service project for the Corona Senior Center. They have a coupon exchange for the seniors and we will be collecting coupons to add to it. Please have your girls collect any coupons that Mom doesn't want (very important detail!). MAKE SURE that they are NOT expired. They can be for any item (use your judgment). A box will be provided starting at the January service unit meeting for collection.

Þ - For any troop looking for a troop service opportunity or needing to perform for a group to earn a recognition...Leona Sparks at the Corona Senior Center works with the disabled seniors. She said they would LOVE visits from the girls...sing songs, do tricks, perform, read/tell stories, visit during their parties (we're too late for their Christmas party), etc. The number at the center is 736-2363 and ask for Leona.

Training Promoter: Lisa Beauregard - Be sure to turn in your training card with your latest trainings! Remember to get a goodie from the basket if you have taken any training in the last two months.

WOW (World of Outdoors) Training - Saturday, March 24 & Sunday March 25 at Camp Sweetwater in San Berdo. The cost is $5.00 for the event, some courses do require a supply fee. Registration deadline is March 8, 2001. Please check out the flyer in your file. This is the perfect op to take the training that you need.

Holiday Caroling: Andrea & Sandy - Crown Pointe Retirement Residence. This Wednesday, December 13. Remember to bring your cookies and ornament/or flower for the audience.

Knott's Berry Farm - November 18-January 7 are "Youth Winter Days" Advance reservations required. A discount is available for groups of 15+.

Cookie Rally 2001 - Saturday, Jan. 20 at Castle Park 9 AM. Alll leaders should have received the form in the mail mid-November. This is a great way to get your girls excited about selling cookies.

International Friendship Fair: Saturday, February 10th. Mark your calendar! Cost is $15 per troop Plus patches if desired. Packets were sent out last month. Deadline to register is in January.

Roller Skating: Sister Troop Event - Wednesday, January 17, 6:00 PM-8:00 PM. At Dave's California Skate.

Camporee- Any updates will be in your file. If you are not trained in HGGO or First-Aid, now is the time to get it taken care of!
