-Having a TEACHER throw things at you with intention to hit you
-Being subjected publicly to false accusations by a TEACHER
-Being verbally abused by a TEACHER in a severe manner
-Being slandered by a member of higher authority
I would like to state the following on behalf of myself and others:
The above described events have taken place in school. Is this what a child or student expects or wants to happen in an educational facility? Not likely. However, due to the administration's lack of supervision and caring, such injustices go unnoticed. The problem remains.
I am of the opinion that sometimes a teacher is the one who needs discipline, not the children. But if a student tries to speak out against these atrocities, they recieve nothing by punishment and ridicule. Complaints go without being taken care of in the proper form.
These are just mere scraps of the injustices that the educational system has brought upon the youth. What should be a place of diversity and learning is seeming more and more like the image of a 12 year prison sentence everyday.
