My Therapist
My therapists name is Nancy.
She's great. She asks all the
right question. Which is what I think makes a therapist a
good therapist. She has never given any indication that
she is disgusted or shocked at anything I say. And no
matter what kind of mood I'm in, She's always Nancy.
Never gets angry if I'm in a nasty mood. But, I always leave
feeling in not such a nasty mood anymore.
I can call her anytime, day or night. Of course, I don't
abuse that. but, there have been a few times when her
perspective was what I needed.
She is always on my side. One example of this, is one day
my husband went with. I had had an episode where I
needed more than anything to be alone. I tried. I got in my
car, and drove off. Just wanted to be alone. He wouldn't let
me. He followed in his car everywhere I went.
well, we were there telling her this, and I thought she was
going to bite his head off. Asking him why I couldn't be
alone. Needless to say, from there after, if I need to be
alone, he let's me be alone.
I'm glad I called and made that appointment. I found a
great therapist who has helped me find out a lot about
myself. i also found a friend in her.
The one thing I am so grateful to her for, is that I found out
through all of this, That I LIKE ME! I couldn't have done that
without her help. For asking all the right questions.
