Nation Of Survivors

In the bright September morning
without warning to us all
A few thousand lives were
shattered and we watched
two buildings fall
And a billion souls felt empty, and
the flags at half-mast fly
In the memory of the innocent
which didn't have to die

We've lost
brothers, sisters, cousins. We've
lost family and friends
But we've made the choice not to
forget their lives and tragic ends
Though we've had our share of
troubles we have put them all
aside
As a nation grieves we find
ourselves defending them with
pride
We're a nation of survivors, with
one heart we share a tear
But we live to serve the
memory, not giving into fear
Though they try to take security
with the things they've done and
said
All their acts of inhumanity bring
unity instead
So we stand here as a family.
One heart, one soul, one voice.
We are challenged by this moment,
and united here by choice.

' We will not fail ' in
war vs. terror
' We will prosper '

A year has came and gone since the horrific attacks against
our great nation.
Many lives were taken, the New York skyline altered
forever.
The Pentagon attacked, a second plane taken down
by our own.
Many lives spared, from those willing to sacrifice
their own.
With those famous words that we shall not forget,
' Let's Roll '
We all know the damage that was done,
we won't forget.
Here are some pictures to allow us to remember the
way they were.
The way they will always be in our hearts
our soul.

On September 11th, 2001. Terrorists attacked our great country, from Washington D.C. to New York City.
Together as one we stood, a world brought together with mourning from all countries.
Different religions, beliefs, race, skin color, but to us all we are all as one on that fateful day.
We all stood tall together and cried the same tear, we will never turn our backs we will never fear.
