People We Know
This is Susan, she's had an exciting year too!  I'll let her tell you about it.  She's our neighbor and has some of the coolest friends.  She also cooks up a storm!

Which brings me back to her friends...Did you know that when she has potluck parties, they actually
bring food???  Not only that, but sometimes they even cook it themselves.  Amazing!

This feature is brought to you by
Not-So-Subtle-Hints with your host, Anika Culici.
So some background for those of you that haven't been to our place yet.  We live in Hollywood.  Right off of "World Famous" Melrose Avenue.  It's usually more crowded, so I think this is either early in the morning or a holiday.  I do know we were across the street waiting forever for a table at Vienna Cafe.

The restaurant pictured here is GoodFellas.  Guess what they serve?

If you said Chinese food, go back 3 spaces.
So here is a pretty impressive photo of the Hollywood sign.

This is so not near our place, not that I wouldn't mind living up here.  If you're feeling really generous, please feel free to donate to the
"Make Adrian and Anika Extremely Giddy Housing Fund".  There is no minimum donation and we'll even let you spend the night.  If you're really in the giving mood, you can just buy us the house and we'd be okay with that too.
This is Drew the morning after Adrian's birthday party this year.  We got him playing the DreamCast and he was hooked!  I think he really liked Crazy Taxi 2.

Drew and Adrian work together many years ago at PacBell, then again this past year at Carraway Communications.  Small world.
This is Chris (in the middle) and DJ Fred C Soul (in the hat) at a party in Lincoln Heights.  Chris is either 1/2 or 1/3 of Midnight BBQ (which consist of Adrian, and maybe Mel--therefore the confusion).  You must hear the "Doctor Trilogy" they've put together.  Adrian will burn a CD for you if you ask nicely.

Chris also has had a big year.  He finished his book, and lots of other stuff, I'll let him tell you all about it

Our Bela Lugosi birthday party, where for some reason, just about everyone wished Adrian a happy birthday.

Anyway, Fat-Hed is getting funky, playing the balloons. I'm completely impressed with that sort of talent.
This is Mel and his daughter Sonia (hope that spelled right). Sonia really, really likes the flashes on the camera.

I have one picture of Jean (Sonia's mom), but it's their Halloween picture and I don't know if they want that here.  If I get permission, I'll add it later.
So for our Bela Lugosi party, Lena was kind enough to blow up the balloons that were later used as musical instruments.  I rented 5 movies starring the Hungarian actor and Lena was so completely into them.

Out of all the movies rented, I think My Son the Vampire is the best.  That movie was funny...I really suggest you rent it.  Actually, only rent it if you
get Benny Hill.
I'd have more pictures of most of you, but you have to visit us so we can have updated ones!  There are people that haven't been out here in over a year (Maria...Medilyn), so I don't have any new pictures of them, but they're up in my house and some of them are in my photo album online at http://photos.yahoo.com/fabooj

Considering how many pictures we have, I'm shocked not more of them are of anyone besides me.  I swear, I had to shuffle through about 2000 pictures of the left side of my head.  I think it's time for a talk with Adrian about that...

Hey Terry!  How you doin'?  That's Bridget's dad standing up.  He's a pretty cool guy.

Terry and Kathy, Adrian and myself went to Vegas for Bridget's birthday (she lives there)!  We had a lot of fun.  We really must do that trip again...Oh wait, we're going to Laughlin on the 26th!!!
