Upload Attachments
If you would like to upload an attachment to send in an e-mail, go to your AOL tool bar. Click on write. It will bring up where you want to write your letter. Go the bottom and you will see a block that will say attachments. Click that on.
It will bring up a screen and you will see where it will say attach, click that on.
It will bring up a screen that will said download. If that is not where you have placed the file, go to the arrow in the white box and click it on. Look until you see where you have placed it. (example) Click on C and it will show you different places where you could have put it. Look for the file name that you have downloaded.
To the right of that screen you will see show preview. Check that box. Click on the file name you want to upload.
It will show you a preview of that file. When you click on the file name you want it will show in the white box. To the right it will say open. Click on open. It will open your file.
Go to the bottom of that screen and click OK.
You will see your file name at the bottom of the page next to attachments. Then open your address book and bring up the e-mail address of the person you are sending it to. Click their name on and send. Their e-mail address will appear on your letter. On the subject line type in the subject of your letter. Then click send now. It will upload your attachment and send it. Be sure to give it a few minutes to upload.
Remember if you want to send a file you have downloaded and you don't remember where you put it. Go to your AOL tool bar and click on my files. Then download manager and then show files downloaded. Double click on the file you want and it will show you where you have placed it.Good Luck and if you need me you can reach me at EMir288419@aol.com.
