About Me:
I am a recent college graduate from Western Maryland College where I majored in music. Western Maryland (now known as McDaniel College...I feel the disgusting need to put that because it is indeed the legal name) is located in Westminster, MD which for those of you who cannot seem to use a map is between Gettysburg, PA and Baltimore, MD. That's me, and it was taken in February, 2003. There's not much more to my life other than music, and settling into my post college life. Right now, I am working part time at Godiva Chocolatier and trying to figure out what in this life makes me tick. Godiva is not my idea of a a career, but at least it's money. After a couple years of not working on a homepage (or updating this one), I've decided that I should remake one. This page is compiled from many different accounts that I have collected over the years, but I'm not telling you what they are....hahahaha.
My Friends:
My friends are awesome! Meet a few of the crowd.
That's Echo the hippie. She is an animal rights activist and hopes to become a music journalist. Check out her site! She's got so much stuff going on...especially with 79wpm...an ezine geered towards 18-30 year olds. She is dating a guy named John. I hope she gives me a pic to put up here if I ever update this page again. Peace Echo!
That's Jody and she is a chemist. She does all these labs and stuff. She is going to Vanderbilt in the fall to continue with biochemistry. Yay Jody! She is engaged to James and everything revolves around their anniversary October, 26th.
This is Beth and her husband, Ben. Beth is good friend from high school, and probably the only person I've kept in touch with from those gloomy days at Watkins Mill High. I was a bridesmaid in her wedding last summer. She graduated as a General Music major at Elon University and works to support her hubby in Wilmington, NC where he continues graduate school at UNC Wilmington.
That is Autumn, and she's a freshman theatre arts major. Autumn lives for drama, be it in conversation (esp. with her fiancee) or working on a show. Look out Broadway...here comes Autumn. Next to her is her ex roommate, Jenni. I used to spend a lot of time hanging out in their room.

My Interests:
Opera:
Call me nuts, but I REALLY enjoy opera. If Mozart were alive today, I've decided that I would stop at NOTHING to marry him. He is a GOD and GENIUS of music. My favorite operas by Mozart are Le Nozze di Figaro, Don Giovanni and Die Zaberflote. My other favorite operas include La Boheme and La Traviata. I'll have more on these operas as time premits me to create links to awesome sites with more info. I may even create my own....we'll see. (yeah right...like I have the time for that) Updated note: I'm out of the "opera stage" and into a more chamber works stage. I adore the music of the Mendelssohn/Schumann crowd. My favorite works include piano trios, quartets, quintets, and concertos. A Schumann site may be in the works considering all of my research. But we'll see what I do with this thing.
Poetry:
I like writting poetry.

Singing:
Ok, so I'm an amateur singer. I've gotten paid before. SWEET! So, I guess that I don't sound like a dying calf in a hail storm. Anyways, I gave a recital this past spring, and this is my shrine to it. I put a lot of effort into making this night wonderful, and it WAS incredible.

My Journal:

That was me in high school. It's actually a senior picture that I just scanned in. I was 16. I'm so happy that the braces are gone now.
This is a picture of me and a group of friends from high school in August of 98. From top left it's Casey, Andy, Spencer, Bridget and bottom left it's Cyana, Jeff, and me. The next picture is a pic of me and the drama sponser from my high school, Mr. Deerfield posing as Tommy from the Rugrats. Thanks goes out to Deerfield for the pics.
This is a pic that I took Spring 2000 at school when we played Kriel Lounge. You KNOW you're gonna be famous if you've played Kriel. At the top is everyone (except me) with their guitars: Bill, Mike, Chi, Jon, Echo, and Andrew.
