Code would be invisible in Page Builder, without assigning an image to it, and you wouldn't be able to 'drag' it around to put it where you want it. This is common in web-building software.
To add HTML, you have to copy and paste the code (for an affiliate banner or something, ) using keyboard shortcuts, instead of using the copy and paste in the mouse... That's where I had trouble at first.
Click on the "add-ons" and select "forms and scripts" from the drop down menu, and click on HTML. Name your code anything. You will have had to 'copy' the code to your 'clipboard' already... Paste it in the box with the keyboard by hitting Ctrl+V. (To copy from your Yahoo site, use Ctrl+C, and to 'cut' use Ctrl+X) Make sure you assign an image, by browsing to an image you have uploaded and clicking okay. TIP: The centering, and placing of images is more 'exact, and amplified' with the code. It will take you a few more times of dragging the image around to get it where you want it. You will see what I mean!
You can also easily set your "Page Properties". This is important. The Title you select is the Name that will appear on the Title bar in someones browser. Nothing screams amatuer more that a weird title... You can put in whole phrases. You can also add "keywords" and such for search engines, etc. To access this feature:
With the desired page open in Page Builder, click on the 'format' menu, and select 'page preferences.' Set what you want. It's that easy. You can set what colors you want links to be, etc, as well. Enjoy, and -
