Submission Guidelines

Women of Kali is a feminist, anti-porn magazine analyzing misogyny in the media and violence against women, focusing on pornography and rape. A diversity of viewpoints is welcomed, but all submitted material must be anti-porn. (This does not mean anti-sex. For clarification see my definition of pornography and erotica.)

Articles may be about any current events relevent to women, but preferrably pertaining to women's human rights violations, threats to women's rights, misogyny, rape or pornography. Articles may also focus on women's strengths and successes. Essays on rape and pornography are especially welcome. They may be standard, objective essays, but more creative personal essays are preferred. Personal experiences with or observations of misogyny, pornography or rape. Short fiction or poetry pertaining to women, but not necessarily feminist. Websites that go beyond ordinary sexism. Rant about the websites that piss you off. Commercials, tv shows, movies, magazines, etc. that are harmful to women.
