HI! My name is Penny,I am a survivor of domestic violence.I would
like to dedicate this page to the prevention of violence. I am
just one person, but it has to start somewhere, and why not with me..Before I just jump into a story about my past let me share a little something about me..I live in Theodore AL(suburb of Mobile AL). with two of my sons, another is with his grandmother in Kansas..I am divorced,
40 years old, brown hair and hazel eyes..I enjoy jigsaw puzzles, time with my kids, pool, bowling and computers.... I like gospel
and country music..Now for the gory stuff...I was a battered wife for ten years, I have had everything from a slap across the face to hair pulling to a loaded 38 special with hollow point bullets to my head at nine months pregnancy..I am not going to tell you to leave, if you are in a domestic violence situation, it won't work until you decide to leave.. I know, been
there done that...But when you have had enough there is help and I am always available to talk to anyone, anywhere, anytime. The middle of the night is no problem for me..Email me with the situation and I will give you my number...I sincerely hope you make this choice before it's to late..

And help for his life
And every woman finds self esteem
When there are no longer children in search of a father
who love them and feel, their no bother

When their are shelters all over your neighborhood
And JAIL is the first word your hear,when the police appear
For we can do more than just cope

When the last thing we look for is bruises on her skin
And the first thing we look for is the beauty within
WE SHALL SURVIVE
When women can stand proud with her head in the clouds.
And it is never clear
WHY women must always live in fear.
WE SHALL BE FREE,WE SHALL BE PROUD,I HAVE SURVIVED!
