The very first role that I assumed upon coming to Earth School was that of the female of our species. I felt that this particular gender would help me to learn the special lessons that I wanted to study while I sojourned on this planet.
Starting from scratch, I made my debut as the third daughter to John and Daisy Riggs. Having already done the 'daughter' scene twice, they regarded me from a loving 'been there, done that' place, which actually worked to my advantage since it allowed me freedom to develop the curiosity and independence that I would need to explore how things work here.
During my second trip around the Sun, my family moved from Missouri to southwestern Michigan. In a rural, lakeshore community appropriately named, Lakeside, I eventually entered the public education system and learned the rudiments of the love of my life--reading. This newfound ability opened any and all doors to exploration, providing a definite advantage on My Journey.
One day in my fifth year of elementary school, the news spread quickly that there was a new boy in school. My first glimpse of him occurred while enjoying the swings during recess period. He was playing baseball in the school yard, and my first thought was, "There he is." You see, before I actually arrived here in Earth School, I had chosen him to participate in my next role in life, that of Wife. His name is Arthur Kopp. He's a brilliant man, but quite frankly, I don't think he's quite figured out yet just how he came to be enrolled in My Journey.
The role of Wife brought many joys, not the least of which propelled me into the ever more complex role of Mother. Art and I facilitated the entry of two brand new souls into Earth School. Two beautiful little girls, Kim and Sherry, made their entry into My Journey. At about this point in my sojourn, I discovered a major answer to the question: "Why Am I Here?"
