If you like to be on lists I have found that Yahoo!Groups is a great

place to go. It has tons of great lists for swapping postcards,

stickers, phone cards, and lots of other things too. Another

place you may try looking for trade lists is at Yahoo Clubs.

Here are some good tips on trading postcards, one of the most

important things to remember is to keep your trader's happy.  I'm not

an expert but these are the things I try to remember:

  1. Always ask your trader their preferences and how they would like their cards sent, (enveloped or postmarked).

  2. Make sure you send the postcards secured in a proper sized envelope and always address the envelope prior to putting cards in (to prevent indentations on the cards).

  3. If even the slightest bit unsure of the postage, go to the post office and have the envelope weighed.  Trader's do not enjoy having envelopes come postage due.

  4.  Always send "new and unused" cards unless arranged previously with your trader.

  5. If you arrange a trade always follow through with it!  It's really unpleasant when you send postcards to someone and they "rip" you off by keeping your postcards and not returning any!  Believe me it's not any fun!!!!!!!

  6. ALWAYS be prompt, if you are going to be more than a few days late sending your postcards out, be courteous and email your trader and let them know.  I know that sometimes other things come up and can cause you to be late but your trader doesn't know that unless you tell them.

  7. My favorite to remember is to be grateful for all postcards you receive, not all places are extremely plentiful with them and they may be hard to find.  Keep smiling and HAPPY TRADING!!!!!
