all mixed up, a transsexual girl's perspective on gender identity

Autobiography: These people wrote wonderful autobiogrpahies about being a transsexual or transgendered person.
Jennifer wrote an autobiography that is gripping, at least for me, as she describes her struggles from facing her dad who had a gun and travelling alone to get SRS.
Joanna has an excellent autobiogrpahy and probing essay on her denial.
Julie elegantly presents her 'ghost of an ideal life' autobiography. Her autobiography begins, "Sometimes the people we are seem so different from the people we always thought we'd be that it seems we have missed something, somewhere, and it's time to retrace our course, go back and read the signs more carefully to see if we've made the right choices. What I'm doing now is part of that retracing." And it's just as powerfully written as we trace through her life.
Kimberley wrote an excellent long autobiography.
Pamela has an extensive autobiography and lots of interesting writings including the portrayal of transsexuals in media.
Kirra runs the "Intersex Voices" Information Network. Though intersexualism and transsexualism are different (the first being physical and the second psychological), our stories shares some aspects and diverge on other aspects. I feel reading each other's stories, reading the similiarities and differences, can help all of us come to a better understanding of ourselves.
Revy: what I like most about her autobiography is how part was written before she felt she was a transsexual and the second part was written afterward!
Theresa writes about her life from childhood to joining a cross dressing club

Life Events: These people wrote personal descriptions of important transgender moments in their lives.
Chamile-Leon has a nicely done 'Diary of a Crossdresser'. This site seems, to me, very simple and honest.
Debbi is a crossdresser with personal tales to share and her spouse's response.
Drew gives us a glimpse beyond paradise lost in his online FtM journal.
Sam is a FtM bigendered person with a cool on-line diary.
Sean is a FtM transsexual with several life events to share.
Shonen turns you head with many of his interesting boy-dyke essays.
Stephen, a FtM transsexual gay man, has an ongoing on-line journal.

Personal Writings: These people introspectively wrote about what it means to be transgendered or transsexual.
Amy honestly describes her struggles with transgenderism in many ramblings.
Annah has written several of the most amazing short introspective essays I have read.
Danielle reveals lots about her life as you walk through her metaphoric house.
Erik shows his interesting perspective on life in this introspective site... very cool and artistic FtM site.
Jami is a crossdresser with many short introspective writings.
Jason wrote about getting testosterone when he turned 18 and, more introspectively, about reconciling his gender and sexual orientation.

Katie's All Mixed Up Transsexual Web Directory: This site is my web directory of about 100 exceptional transsexual web sites. These sites are introspective, personal, and well-designed.
