I think you created a beautiful and loving page in your daughters memory. I am a mother of a five year old. I read so many different people's touching stories about losing a child and my heart goes out to each and every one of them. Death of a loved one is extremely difficult and painful. With God's help and the help of our loved ones, we get thru the most difficult time in out lives. We dont forget but we go on with our lives. My mom and I decided to dedicate a web page in memory of her parents and her husband. My grandma passed away, then 15 hours later...my mom's husband(my step-dad) passed away. Talk about a double whammy. Then nine months later..my granfather passed I think dedicating a web page in anyone honor's helps us all heal.

I was born in Queen Charlotte city but I lived in Juskatla untill I was about 9Months old. My mother tells me that your family lived across from our family. My father, Jean R. Pelletier, was a grapple operator in Juskatla at that tme. Mom, Dad and my sist r (Louise) moved to Queen Charlotte city in 1963. We did not move off the Islands until 1969 when we went to Kitimat.My parents eventually moved back to the Ilands and continued to live there until they retired and moved to Nanoose Bay. Returning for visi s as an adult confirmed my childhood memories of the Island's beauty and how lucky I was to be raised in that place at that time. I also had a still birth at 24 weeks. The Autopsy was inconclusive. We later found out that our son was stillborn due to an infection I had. It's called fifths disease. My best friends two year old son had it and gave it me. No one ever told us that the v rus was fatal to an unborn baby. A blood test confirmed that I had it. It's just another childhood illness. The Dr. should have told her to keep her son away from pregnant women. Almost everyone knows that measles can do the same, but this was one we neve heard of. I named my son Michael Allen. I also never got to see him. The doctor said his heart had stopped several weeks before and it wasn't a good idea. Michael was born November 18,1997. On December 9, 1998, I gave birth to a very tiny little girl, at 35 weeks gestation. Madelynn was 4 lbs. She is now a very active 1yr old. She is proof to me that God lets some of his angels stay here. She is my third live birth. I've also had two miscarriages and one ectopic pregnancy. Although Madelynn can't replace y son, she eases the ach in my heart. I know how you feel and my heart goes out to you. It's never easy to loose a child. Melissa

She was my age in this last April I had a terrible car accident i which I broke my neck and had several internal injuries. I was not expected to live through the night, but God had other plans for me. I also lost my father exactly 2 month prior to my accident so it has been sad by a growing time for everyone in my fa ily. Anyway, I say all that to say that I have mourned with her 2 sons and considered that my own sons could be feeling the same things right now.
