Several people have asked me why I chose this username at MIT. It comes from a nickname that a couple of Grade 7 students gave me when I was in my last year of high school. At the Holiday concert, I was dressed as a musician (i.e., in black) and had a large black hair bow to tie my hair back. From the front, it looked like I had donned cat-ears; hence the creation of my nickname.
Of course, I also happen to be a feline lover -- much to my frustration however, I have developed an allergy to cat fur! Friends here call me "Kitten", "Cat" or "Hobbes" (as in "Calvin and Hobbes"), hopefully in a complimentary sense... And now I think my Fiance will come up with some variant...
