I have not read all your posted poems, but I will. Your imagery is strong, I love the line "timeship of a motel hot tub". The hotel in which I work has such items, and I am now likely to think of you every time I rent one. Your craft is up to speed with your sensitivity. I posted a poem today on the Poem.org board--not one of my favorites, but it was published, and always gets a smile at work. I edit and publish "Nanny Fanny" a poetry magazine. Guidelines are available at my E-mail address (websites are just too hard to figure out for me to have one). It is strictly a print mag, with all submissions done by way of snailmail. I'm glad I found poem.org, and you. "Nanny Fanny" is all about character studies, and I think it might be something you might find of interest. And this PS, I have a cousin with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, living in the Wash. DC area. She picked up a virus in Italy, where she lived with her Air Force husband. She has a helper dog, a standardbred poodle named Robert. I last saw her at her brother s wedding a couple years ago--she is a brave woman. She insisted on remaining in the wedding party despite her disability. She says she never knows when a spell of weakness will come over her, although the dog is a big help. Regards, Lou |

I am brand new to cyberspace and checking it out. I read your home page and it sounds a lot like me. I have three children. cfs + . I have been a foster mom in past but not now. I love writing and reading othe s. Probably if I had to come up with a benefit to this disease it would be that it allows me time to write (although I am writing about this disease instead of fiction). I don't know how I would get thru this if I lost my ability to write. I can not wr te with pen or pencil as my hands wont hold for very long but do pretty good keyboarding.
