Nausea (Morning Sickness)
Most common during the early months of pregnancy, often stops after the third month, but my occur anytime. What May Help: Eat small meals throughout the day, drink between meals rather than with meals, and avoid greasy foods. ***************************************************************************
Constipation
Hormones and pressure from your growing uterus can make elimination sluggish. What May Help: Eat fruits, vegetables, whole grain breads, and cereals everyday. Drink more liquids. A glass of warm water before breakfast may help. Exercise regularly. ***************************************************************************
Heartburn
A "burning" feeling that seems to come from an area near the heart and is sometimes a problem during the last months of pregnancy. What May Help: Eat five or six meals a day instead of two or three larger ones. Avoid fatty, fried, and spicy foods. Wear clothes that are loose fitting around your waist. Try to relax and eat slowly.
