I have been blessed in the few months I have worked on my home pages to receive many awards. I had full intentions of thanking each person, by the award they gave me. Because there was such a long period of time that my pages were offline under construction, I have unfortunately lost a lot of the information that pertain to these awards. I do not mean to slight anyone in any way so if you visit here and see an award you gave me and I have not recognized your gift or linked it back to you please email me and let me know so I can correct it.
I will try to separate these awards into groups of what they pertain to. The first awards are those that have been given to or relate to me personally. They are very dear to my heart and brought tears to my eyes when I received them.
This award touched me so deeply. I have never really considered myself a strong woman but that phrase has come up so many times in emails to me about my site that I guess it must appear that way to others.
Thank you Loris for this wonderful award. Loris Wilson lost her precious daughter and gives this award in her memory. Please go visit her memorial to her beloved daughter.
Thank you Lisa and Douglas Thiessen. This award is given in memory of their son, Derek. Please visit their site and learn more about their tiny angel.
These next three awards were given to me for my page on the POW/MIA situation. I was raised by a father who fought in WWII and who instilled in me a great love for my country and for the men and women who defend it. I have a feeling my Dad is smiling down from Heaven about these awards. I accept them in his memory.
The following awards were given to me in recognition of my tribute to my son, Kyle, who was born an angel on August 26, 1982. Each award is so very precious me. They validate that he existed and helps me keep his memory alive.
This next award was received from Colorado Avalanche. Her home page was very interesting, and she has a lot of interesting links there. Go visit it!
And the final group of awards are my “Fun” awards. They were received from the ChatDivas.
This was my award for my “costume” at the Diva Halloween Party. I was “Miss Gelatin 1998 and Her Amaaaaazing Jello Jigglers.” How is that for a visual??? *LOL*
I’m proud of this one. I worked very hard to win this award. And the next week I was the quickest person done again. It was great fun!!! *Grin*
