MICHELLE MARIE GREEVER ~ August 24th 1984 ~ November 5th 1993

This picture is of Michelle and of me, her mama, put together by my dear husband and Michelle's Daddy, how he did it i will never know but it tells my heart Michelle would have looked alot like me had she been able to grow up, i always thought she did look like me when she was little... Someone thought this was Michelle age progressed! :)

IN LOVING MEMORY OF MY PRECIOUS GRANDDAUGHTER "MICHELLE MARIE"

Happy Birthday in Heaven, sweet Michelle. On August 24th 2008 you would have been 24 years old."Happy Twenty-Fourth (Golden) Birthday in Heaven!!" So many thoughts flood my mind ever since that fateful day, what could have been, might have been, and cannot be, and of the countless questions of why I will never have an answer, at least not here on this earth. I love and miss you so very much and see your smiling face and eyes before me every single day, and the pain in my heart will never go away until we hug and kiss again. I have planted a special garden for you, nine large pots filled with flowers of all colors, one for each of your short years here on earth. The birds and butterflies that you loved so much come and visit the birdbath and flowers every day and it seems at times I can see your smiling face peeking out behind some of the tall flowers. Your little cousin Brandi with whom you spent nights at Omie's house, talks lovingly about you, often with me. She made a beautiful angel doll in art class for you with feathered wings, sequined dress and she picked out yarn for her hair that is your beautiful auburn color. When she spends the night with me and we look at the gold stars on my bedroom ceiling, we reminisce with loving words and thoughts just like when you were here with us and we looked at them together... I got a very special Birthday present for you, through the INTERNATIONAL STAR REGISTRY I had a star named just for you, in the constellation VIRGO, your birth month, it has your name, "MICHELLE M. GREEVER" for all eternity... The most beautiful and special star in the Heavens just like you... And now it has a special meaning when we look up to the night sky and see you "twinkling" to greet us, we say ~ we love you too sweet Michelle for always and forever... HAPPY BIRTHDAY, with all my love, until we meet again... Your "Omie"

Hi I'm Cindy Jo.
This website was created August 3rd 1998 and is my first website dedicated to the many bereaved parents whose children have parted before them. Included are special webpages dedicated to our many children, our Angels who have entered the Kingdom of Paradise. It is in their loving memory and a tribute to honor the lives of these children and young adults who may have lived short years but very full lives on this earth. The above drawing was the last one Michelle drew and gave to me days before she parted for Heaven when she was struck by a car attempting to board her school bus.
Michelle was an organ donor and I was a contributing editor for The National Kidney Foundation's newsletter FOR THOSE WHO GIVE AND GRIEVE for three years. I also was editor and founder of my own newsletter titled HEART TO HEART HOPE & HEALING from February 1995 to 2001 which I snail mailed out to over 200 Bereaved Families. I have contributed to three Bereavement books to date and have five other websites online I created which are listed on this main page. Perhaps one of my most cherished memories is when I met Patty Duke on-stage several years ago when our National Donor Quilt was televised and Patty helped me hold it up for the camera. Here we are after the show.

NATIONAL CHILDREN'S MEMORIAL DAY!!!

1998 ~ National Children's Memorial Day is a reality at last! The Senate designates Children's Memorial Day as every Second Sunday of December and calls on the people of the United States to observe the day with appropriate ceremonies and activities in remembrance of infants,children, teenagers, and young adults who have died.

"Michelle Marie Greever" ~ August 24th 1984 ~ November 5th 1993 ~ Organ Donor

Michelle was a most loving child who lived her life to the fullest. Michelle was always happy, giving, caring, loving and compassionate. She loved nature, animals, bugs and everything God made. Michelle sang beautifully, being the youngest member of select choir at school, and beginning her solo career when she was just four years old at church. Her first solo at church was "Away in the Manger." Michelle was always performing skits and plays and loved to dress up. She also loved the OLD DAYS! Michelle was a beautiful artist who loved to draw and had a unusually creative ability, always making things from scraps. The last picture Michelle drew was of a little girl standing on the moon with the sun and stars above her, next to this she wrote me her last letter, days before she parted. Michelle wrote for me to have sweet dreams and that she loved me so much. Michelle was one of 14 organ donors for the Inland Northwest in 1993, and gave life and sight to others, when she was suddenly struck by a car while attempting to board her school bus. We will always love Michelle and she will always be our BRIGHTEST SHINING STAR... With Love, her Mother Hen...Cindy Jo and Family
