sudden
a drop in degrees on a summer day
flick of a switch illuminates the room
silence then cuts to a horrific scream
all of a sudden this change cries out
cold sweats from a nightmare-filled sleep
tears from your perfectly blue eyes
flying high then falling to the earth
contrasting winds hush by my ear
too many things changing for me
rhyming words that don't match
new pencil's point breaks
all is lost--happened so fast
