Today is half-day in school! :)

I spent the time wandering in the library (because it's air-conditioned and it's bloody hot outside these days!) and later, went to the Anatomy Resource Center to feel some poor dead guy's bones. hahaha!

Some of the bones had this yucky brownish hardened glue-like substance stuck to certain hard-to-reach corners and I couldn't help wondering if that's some hardened leftover flesh / ligaments. YUCKS!!! After satisfying myself that I can name the parts of some of the bones, I hurried off to wash my hands very thoroughly twice. :P

I called myself computer-saavy but I didn't realise that there was so much more to learn through the intranet demos for our clinical lab lessons. I discovered a thorough reference section full of vital information and spent the rest of the afternoon reading and trying to remember the points.

Oh, but who cares? The air-con in the Anatomy Resource Center was strong and I'd choose to be there anytime! It's getting really hot and humid these days and it will continue to get worse until late October. Imagine an Indian Summer from now till then! :P

I made a decision - I think I'll spend more time in the library from now on. I need to discipline myself to study more. There really is a lot to study - lectures proceed very fast but we need time to digest the facts and commit the vital facts to memory for easy recall and now's the time to do it cause I do not want to be overwhelmed at the last minute. Frankly, I'm a little too old for that kind of 'excitement' now. hehehe!
