These are a few of my favourite things:
Cats (especially Ragdolls); Windchimes; Flowers (Baby Pink Carnations - those with several
buds on a single stalk!, Begonias, Cherry Blossoms, oh... just about every flower actually!);
Gordon (my favourite guy teddy, born in the North America Bear Company!); walks in the parks / gardens;
early morning dew; the cool dawn breeze; walking along a pristine beach at sunrise, sunset, and dusk;
moonlight streaming through my window; Dreamcatchers; Votives; Potpourri; crystals; watching the rain fall
when I'm safe 'n' sound and cozy inside; Spring; spending time with my close friends;
libraries and bookshops; (and dare I say it - 'HoT'-blooded men!!!); yada-yada-yada!
Oh enough already! heh! :P
My hobbies / interests:
Reading; enjoying music (esp. Love Ballads, New Age, Easy Listening and Soft Jazz);
Handicraft (esp. cross-stitch, embroidery and paper tole); Health Issues; Fiddling with my camera;
Strolls; Surfing the web!
I'm enchanted by:
Writers, Poets, Songbirds / Crooners, Musicians, Artists, Dancers, Photographers, Quilters, and
... well, all creative and talented people;
Simple, wholesome, sincere folks over the polished, immaculate, arrogant, mean, wicked, pompous and
pretentious folks so full of themselves and so obsessed with status,
wealth and material acquisitions. :P pthpthpthpth
Few things can be more sublime than :
Curling up on a window seat with a book, cat purring serenely beside you, and a warm
cuppa soup on a cold day or a glass of sherbet, fruit juice, or ice lemon tea on a warm day. :)
And what can compare to a singer with awesome vocals crooning love songs with oh so much feelings? sigh...
My dream home :
In the suburbs, where it's far and 'away from the madding crowd' (Thomas Hardy). I resent having to live in the
concrete jungle that's Singapore. :P
I don't really care how big or small my dream home is, but my emphasis is on coziness.
I'd like to have a personal study, space for cats, a window-box garden (if a little garden isn't possible at all),
and space to entertain friends and maybe, hold pajama parties now and then. :) That's all I ask for. And that will make me
very very happy. :)
What I hate :
I hate hypocrites, and also doctors / nurses who don't care about their patients.
I hate manipulative people who abuse the love and trust of others - I totally abhor them.
I especially hate people who abuse or mistreat kids.
I hate to see marriages and families breaking apart. And it's so tragic that our understanding of
"love" is now so thwarted. :(
