Let me introduce you to my family. We live in the great state of Ohio in the big city of Cincinnati! First there is my dear husband and myself. I am married to a wonderful man who is the rock of my foundation. We compliment each other well. I truly believe he is my soulmate...just wish I had found him sooner! We have only been married for two years. However, we have been best friends for more than six years. He cheers me up and he cheers me on! He has laughed with me, cried with me, and prayed with me. He is a wonderful husband, a very patient and loving man and his family mean everything to him. He is a wonderful father and loves children dearly. He has a warm heart and a great sense of humor that kids just love! He has two children from a previous marriage, Justin 17 and Lauren 12....they are great kids and well loved. They do not live with us...but we see them often. Then there is me...I am a registered nurse for a group of GI doctors...(dirty work but someone has to do it!). I love being home with my family and having together time. I love time spent with extended family and good friends. I love people! I think they are wonderful creatures! My hobbies include writing letters and notes to friends, arts and crafts, and reading something "educational." I enjoy doing for others...when I have time! I love being a mom the best! Then there is our princess Sarah. She was diagnosed in March 97 with Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma stage IV. She had an isolated CNS relapse on treatment in Aug, 97. Then another relapse in April 98.. as T-cell Leukemia. She spent a terrible month in the hospital with one complication after another. We could not get her into remission and she died from chemo related complications from a study drug that was tried...on May 14, 1998, at the age of 16. We miss her very much. Sarah was a girl who had an active outgoing spirit. She had a love for life and was busy every minute. She did not want to miss out on anything. Guess she knew she had to get in as much as she could on earth before she departed. She was a very talented young lady. Intelligent, creative and artistic. She was a highschool cheerleader, loved reading, loved writing poetry and short stories, loved dancing and singing. She had a beautiful voice and a wonderful smile that I miss so much now! Her dream was to one day attend NYU and major in performing arts and someday appear on Broadway! With her outgoing, confident and determined spirit I know she would have obtained any goal she set out to achieve. In Nov. 97 Sarah went to NYC as her special wish. She saw several Broadway shows and also got to be the announcer on the Rosie O'Donnell show. She had a wonderful time and we have many wonderful memories. I know in my heart she's doing all the things in Heaven that she wanted to do on earth. Only now, she has all the best instructors! I'm sure she has performed on Broadway! My daughter Stacy is 14. She and Sarah were best friends. She will be lost without her. Stacy is an angel on earth too. She has a wonderful heart and a loving sweet nature. She is quiet yet always smiling. She is well loved and has many friends. She is so compassionate and caring. She loves to laugh and be silly. She is very artistic and draws really well. Her main love is for babies and animals! She knows everything about animals (just ask her anything!) She wants to be like "Jack Hannah" and major in Zoology. She has a dog, two parquets and a Quaker parrot who has quite a vocabulary! She would love to have many more animals...but we have to draw the line somewhere...her room already looks like a zoo! !!
