Kristine

Juliana, Kristine & Jeromie.

Hi, my name is Kristine. My daughter Juliana was born with what the doctors thought, a mass on her kidneys. After taking her to the University of Chicago, they came to find that she had a tumor on her adrenal gland. Dr. Rubin of the University of Chicago has done some ultrasounds on Juliana and are calling what she has, Neuroblastoma. They have done a bone scan and a skeletal X-Ray. These tests so far have come up negative. As of now they just want to watch Juliana to see if her tumor will grow or shrink. They do urine tests on her every two months and so far everything is looking good.

Juliana

Juliana is my first child and I'm sure won't be my last. My husband, Jeromie, works in a steel mill, and I have decided to be a stay at home mom. We are both 21 and we have known each other since we were in 6th grade. We both never dreamed that we would end up together, and share a beautiful baby girl together. Juliana's grandparents live about 5 hours away and rarely get to see her, but we get to visit every once in a while. We have a very supportive and loving family, and they all love my little Jules so much. The doctors laugh because everytime we go to the doctor I seem to bring along a different family member! Juliana may have been a surprise but she was the best thing that has ever happened to us. God Bless.
