Nikki,this page is so precious,God sent me to the Mom is a Survivor wep site the night BEFORE my daughter died.I some how got to this site and My First Christmas In Heaven would not come off my screen, no matter what I clicked to it kept coming up.Before could get it to stop I had it memorised.The next morning at 8;35 I got the phone call my daughter had been found dead.When I got a little control I remembered the site, I came and sit down and al I could find the was I'm Free, so when I calmed down some his is the first web site i joined. To lose a child is the most awful, agonizing, horrible grief; it breaks your heart forever, an unbearable pain that scars the soul! Nothing can change that reality. Never can there be a time of greater despair or helplessness, no matter how strong your aith or how courageous you are. Often, all we can do when faced with a tragic, depressing, dreadful crisis is cope. Our only choice when we are pinned against a wall of despair and hopelessness is to take what we have left and make the most of it. Death’s sting never fades, but in a sense that’s positive; it is a constant reminder of what we have and what we’ve lost. Life must go on for those who remain alive. After many months, I have been able to find pleasure in nesting. The parts of my life that I have some control over are falling into order. It seems that so many of the wisest people in our lives, those who become our teachers, who inspire us to appreci te life more completely, are people who have experienced personal tragedy.
