Our first Fairy House
We started with an unfinished birdhouse which we stained to make look more rustic.
We then glued on pre-made wooden windows. We couldn't find a door but we made one from an arched window and a rectangular piece of wood. We painted a moon and a star to decorate the front and added peat moss to the moss. The hardest part was putting a hinge on the door, but it was worth it. We then put plastic in the windows and door as window panes and painted the panes of the door with sparkle glue for some color, sort of a stained glass effect. And last but not least we made a house sign.
Unfortunately I don't have any more in progress pictures but here is the finished look.
