Ani Difranco
Ani is a music goddess! She has an incredible voice, she plays one mean guitar, and she's the cutest persont to see live (the picture is one that I took at the Newport Folk Festival)! If you've never heard her, you are missing out on somethig amazing!! There are tons of good Ani web sites out there, so I reccommend a search engine in finding the best one, but do, because she's great.
Jess Klein
Jess is an amazing singer-songwriter out of the Boston area (but orginally from Rochester, NY). Her live shows are mesmerizing, so if you ever get a chance to see her, go! Also, go find out all about her at jessklein.com
The Maggies
The Maggies play the most perfect pop songs ever! Their record Homesick is great (plus it has the song Thank God on it). Check out The Maggies-It's Pop Music. They're from my hometown of NoHo!
Moxy Fruvous

Rose Polenzani
Rose is a most wonderful folk singer who I first saw at the Newport Folk Festival, 1998 (where Andrea took this picture). She is brilliant, and you can go order her cd here
Catie Curtis
Catie is another Newport find! I don't know of a good website for her, but if you check out an online record store, you'll definitely be able to order her two cds. You should, because she's great!
Laura Love
Laura Love was reccomended to me by my wonderful friend Tawni. So, when she came to the Iron Horse, Andrea and I had to go. We were not disappointed! She has an amazing stage presence, and is really funny! She's also a chick bass player
