The Nields are an excellent band, in fact I would definitely say they are my favorite. The band consists of five people: Nerissa Nields (on acoustic guitar and vocals), her sister Katryna Nields (on vocals, and assorted fun auxilary percussion instruments), Nerissa's husband, David (on electric guitar), Katryna's fiance Dave Chalfant (bassist extrodinaire) and the final member, of no relation to the band other then good friend, is drummer Dave Hower. All five members are amazing at what they do, and together they make beautiful music (of the folk/rock variety). They are also some of the nicest musicians, and people, that I have ever met. If you haven't already heard them, you should go out and buy their most recent release, "Play" (it should be available in record stores everywhere-I even saw it in England!!). You should also go to their webpage, and buy all of their other records, because each one is its own entity, and all are incredible!
