I will include some of my favorite genealogy links pretty soon, but watch out! You can spend hours at some of these. Remember to look for documentation for any piece of information you receive; even the most careful researchers and the most well-meaning hobbyists can make mistakes. The LDS stuff is particularly suspect, in my experience, because they don't verify the information they receive before they include it in their databanks. I discovered that my hardshell-Baptist grandpa had been posthumously made a Mormon -- he's probably spinning in his grave! And nearly all the information in the LDS files on my family is incorrect, which cost me, as a beginner, about three months of fruitless searching for people who were't even kin to me! I am far more discriminating these days. Beware!
