Women Artists
of the Renaissance

I am researching Renaissance women artists, and wanted to share some of my findings here at The Lair. I'm sure I've overlooked many great sites, so please email me if you know of others that should be here. I'm including a list of links, and also a few pictures. I've also stuck in a few women artists from other periods, as you will note.

Artemisia Gentileschi is my favorite woman artist of the Renaissance period, and there are several good sites which feature her work. Some of these have biographies and other interesting information.

Here are some links to sites featuring other women artists of the Renaissance. Email me if you know of other good ones.
