Dear Mary,
While searching on the website I found a Mary Jane Limpenny (1868-1932) married to John William Trevan (1865-1929). As far as I know there was a Plymouth umbrella manufacturer in the 1850's who could be Mary's father. On the following site you can find a picture of the shop.

If you have any information on a Limpenny I would appreciate it.
Thanks,
All the best,
Martin

A great site. I wish I could connect to it. I had no idea there were so many Henwoods. The name died out here as my parents had all girls & the men in the previous generation were both childless.

Very nice site! Do you have any Henwoods that moved to Middlesex? I have a Henwood/Sadler marriage on my tree.

I was born Patricia A. Treliving in 1939 in Bedfordshire, England. I keep in touch with Lynne Browning, and am trying to find some family members who went to Canada early this century. I have visited your site a few times and thought I would say hello!<

I spent my youth in a fine house built c. 1830 in Honesdale, Pennsylvania, USA, for Richard Henwood. Richard, Charles P (Killed in the US Civil War) and Edward P. Henwood and their mother Ann (and possibly their father John) lived in Honesdale in the earl
to mid-19th Century. They were from Cornwall.

Hi, my father John Trevan was researching the family name before he passed away in 1991.
Unfortuntely none of us here have bothered to take it any further. I live in Melbourne (Aust)and there are not to many of us here. I do remember our connection was traced back to a Wesslyan? minister who came out to the goldfields in the 1850's. I do ha
e some written material at home which I will have a look into.
I've found the references to Trevan's on the internet quite interesting.
Cheers
Phil
