God saw the tears upon my cheek.
He knew that I was very weak.
My life was filled with much despair.
I felt like no one really cared.

I cried to the God I did not know.
He said My Love to you I'll show.
He took my hand and led the way,
And I looked upon a cross that day.

God said this is my only Son.
He loves you so and He's the one.
He'll rescue you from all despair.
Just place your life into his care.

I gave my life to Him that day.
The cross of love showed me the way.
I laid my burdens at his feet.
The air then changed to fragrance sweet.

Now Jesus lives inside my heart.
Each day with him is a brand new start.
As I look to the cross and the price he paid,
I'll never regret the choice I made.
