The End

What does it mean? The end of the hallway,
the end of my poem, the end of life?
Does it really mean anything?
To some it means everything stops right there,
but when you stop you will soon go.
When the movie we are watching gets done,
it usually says "The End," even though there is a continuous.
So when I am done with this poem should I put "The End?"
