Tamika's Koala Project !!!!!

An example of using the Net as a resource tool is the assignment which Tamika (my daughter) had to do for school. Tamika chose to do her assignment on Koalas. We did a search on the word "Koalas" using the Search Engine "Excite". (You could use any of the Search Engines - there are about seven or eight of them.) We found pages of information on Koalas and heaps of photos. We saved the images and the pages of information and then printed the images out on a color printer. Then Tamika typed up the information which she wanted to include in her assignment. Then she pasted the information and some of the photos onto a large piece of cardboard. The result was a lovely, well presented piece of information about the Koala. Some of the sites we went to were:
