Ways & Means

(How we raise funds to meet our chapter's budget)

2000 - 2001:

  • Themed Gift Baskets Raffle - last year it was so sucessful, we repeated it again.

  • Holiday Wreaths - Our best money maker yet!

  • This year we raised our Chapter dues to $15 per person - still lower than some chapters!

1999 - 2000:  We raised over $500.00 total for this year's Ways & Means in the following ways:

  • Casual Cloth Napkins.  These napkins were approximately 12-15" square and made of cotton or cotton blends.  The fabric is almost entirely donated by chapter members.

  • Raffle for Themed Gift Baskets - raffle tickets were sold at the CRCC Brunch in November for our themed gift baskets.  Some of the themes included were: Coffee & Tea, Movies, Gardening, Millennium.  This raffle raised approximately $300.00 alone!

  • We also sold some address labels, book marks and gift tags with this year's International theme.

  • As always, chapter dues are one way to provide for Ways & Means too; only $10/person this year.

1998 - 1999:

  • We had a substantial raffle which included 5 nights stay in 3 different hotels in Santa Cruz, several gift certificates to local shops, and a framed Sally Bookman lithograph.

  • We sold products from Human-i-Tees (T-shirts, coffee cups, cloth bags, giftwrap, etc.).

  • We also sold home made bookmarks and award frames
