Love's Eyes

I see a bird in flight,
   Or a baby's gentle smile.
The beauty that I see in them
   Reminds me of your face.

The compassion and the caring
So softly chiseled there.
The love and understanding
Painted on by God's own hand.

Your face is a priceless treasure,
With a perfection of its own.
I look into your face
To see Love's own eyes
gazing back at me.

COMPASSION

Don't be surprised if I start to cry
Don't keep me up cause I'm falling
And please don't try to understand why
I did it all so you'll love me

I know that I'm not what you want me to be
You think that I'm strong but I'm weak
You'll give me the world cause you think that I want it
But I really just want you to love me

           I'm giving up
Since nothing I give is enough
       I'm giving in
So take what you want and then leave me to die

So don't get upset if I start to scream
And don't get mad if I leave
No matter what you could do to me
You could never just sit there and love me

Need is a grasping.
  To need and to love
are quite different things.
  To love is to accept,
encourage, nourish and nurture.
    To need is to expect,
require, consume and employ.
Where there is love there is balance.
Where there is need there is imbalance.
Where there is love within a field
there is no need.
Yet there may be love outside a field
in which there is need.
Such a love may only aid to the extent
that it fosters self-love,
or love from within.
Thus love is NOT the satisfaction
of need's grasp.
Love is NOT the filling of the
emptiness from without.
Love is NOT the satisfaction of desire.
Love is NOT ego-gratification.
Love is NOT a substitute for self-love.
Love IS inspiration of self-love.
Love IS encouragement toward tolerance.
Love IS nourishment toward acceptance.
Love IS the allowing of growth.
Love may be painful, cajoling, denying, restrictive, forceful, challenging, curt, resistant, blunt, or harsh.
Love is NOT malevolent, deceiptful, coercive, damaging, extortive, bullying,
rude, refusing, abusive, or cruel.
'Perfect Love' is love which arises spontaneously from the center of
balance in tune to compassion

An institution is the lengthened shadow
of one man, and all history resolves itself
very easily into the biography
of a few stout and earnest persons

ABOUT LOVE

Mother Teresa Memorial Graphic:Design Raq

Don't think that love, to be true,
has to be extraordinary. What is necessary
is to continue to love. How does a lamp burn,

if it is not by the continuous feeding
of little drops of oil? When there is no oil,
there is no light and the bridegroom will say:

"I do not know you".

Dear friends, what are our drops of oil
in our lamps? They are the small things
from every day life: the joy, the generosity,
the little good things, the humility
and the patience.

A simple thought for someone else.
Our way to be silent, to listen, to forgive,
to speak and to act.

That are the real drops of oil
that make our lamps burn vividly our whole life.

Don't look for Jesus far away, He is not there.

He is in you, take care of your lamp
and you will see Him."

There is something about a life lived in total sacrifce that leaves me in awe.

Mother Teresa is one such life.
I have learned much by her example.

In my idealism, I envision Heaven to be a place full of "Missionaries of Charity", and I thank  GOD that the earth is full of such warm hearts of charity.

Thank GOD for Mother Teresa.

MOTHER TERESA & PRINCESS DIANA

Time
   by Henry Van Dyke
[read by Lady Jane, Diana's sister]

Time Is

Too Slow for those who Wait,
Too Swift for those who Fear,
Too Long for those who Grieve,
Too Short for those who Rejoice;
But for those who Love,

                       Time is Eternity

Poem read by Lady Sarah, Diana's sister

If I should die and leave you here awhile,
Be not like others, sore undone, who keep
Long virgils by the silent dust, and weep.
For my sake--turn again to life and smile,
Nerving thy heart and trembling hand to do
Something to comfort other hearts than
                            thine.
Complete those dear unfinished tasks of
                          mine
And I, perchance, may therein comfort you.
